The Convener of Tope Liberty Cares, Olowofoyekun Temitope Dadeowo, has expressed total agreement with the recent position of the Director General of the Opomulero Group, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori Michael (DG Opomulero), describing Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa as one of the most disciplined, focused and result-driven leaders Ondo State has produced.
According to Tope Liberty Cares, the achievements of Governor Aiyedatiwa are visible across the state and cannot be erased by political propaganda or the opinions of those who are uncomfortable with the progress being recorded.
“It is refreshing to see patriotic voices speaking the truth. We completely agree with DG Opomulero that Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s achievements cannot be swept under the carpet by critics whose only mission is to discredit a performing administration.
“The Governor has demonstrated uncommon fiscal discipline by significantly reducing the state’s debt burden, paying outstanding salaries, pensions and gratuities, while ensuring that government resources are directed towards projects that directly impact the lives of the people.
“Across the health sector, education, road infrastructure, agriculture, security, power, water supply and youth empowerment, the evidence of purposeful leadership is undeniable. The recruitment of teachers and health workers, payment of WAEC fees, upgrading of healthcare facilities, subsidised prepaid electricity meter programme, reconstruction of courtrooms, and numerous ongoing infrastructure projects are practical examples of governance that deserves commendation.
“No sincere observer can deny that Governor Aiyedatiwa has brought stability, discipline and accountability to governance in Ondo State. Rather than engage in needless political distractions, he has remained focused on fulfilling the mandate freely given to him by the people.
“We therefore commend DG Opomulero for standing on the side of truth and for reminding the public that governance should be assessed through verifiable projects and measurable outcomes, not through politically motivated falsehoods.
“The people of Ondo State can see the roads being constructed, hospitals being upgraded, schools being renovated, security being strengthened and investments being attracted into the state. These are realities that no amount of propaganda can erase.
“History will ultimately judge every administration by its tangible achievements, and Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is steadily building a legacy of responsible leadership, prudent management and sustainable development. We encourage him to remain focused and continue delivering the dividends of democracy to the good people of Ondo State.”
