The Owo/Ose Youth Forum today, in their large numbers, staged a strong show of unity and solidarity as they rallied overwhelming support for Prince Adenekan Olateru-Olagbegi, describing him as the ideal figure to complement the leadership of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa from the Ondo North Senatorial District.
The rally, which drew enthusiastic participation from youths across Owo and Ose communities, underscored the growing confidence in Prince Olateru-Olagbegi’s capacity to drive meaningful development and strengthen governance through his wealth of experience and global exposure.
In a statement issued at the event, the Forum described Prince Olateru-Olagbegi as a globally seasoned technocrat whose over three decades of professional excellence across world-class consulting firms such as Arthur Andersen LLP and PriceWaterhouseCoopers, as well as his engagements with institutions like IBM, BearingPoint, the State of Georgia, City of Atlanta, and DeKalb County in the United States, place him in a league of highly competent leaders needed at this critical time.
“Today’s massive turnout is a clear testament to the confidence Owo/Ose youths have in Prince Adenekan Olateru-Olagbegi. Ondo North deserves a leader who can complement Governor Aiyedatiwa with real expertise, global insight, and proven results—and that leader is Prince Adenekan,” the statement read.
The Forum highlighted his distinguished career as a Financial Consultant, Project Director, and Public Sector Strategist, noting that his expertise in infrastructure development, Public-Private Partnerships (PPP/BOT models), economic policy design, and investment structuring will significantly enhance development outcomes across the state.
They further emphasized his landmark achievements, including the successful delivery of the Akure Shopping Mall under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model, his role in the Ilaje Free Trade Zone, facilitation of bitumen exploration initiatives, and contributions to agro-industrial projects such as the Idanre Chocolate Factory.
“Prince Olateru-Olagbegi has consistently demonstrated the ability to translate vision into reality. His projects have created jobs, attracted investments, and opened new economic frontiers for Ondo State,” the Forum stated.
The youths also acknowledged his contributions to public service, including his nominations to the Fiscal Responsibility Commission and the National Assembly Service Commission, describing them as evidence of his credibility and national relevance.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, the Forum praised his commitment to grassroots development, citing his donation of over one million textbooks, support for healthcare infrastructure, and active involvement in diaspora organizations such as the Owo United Association and Ondo State Association in Atlanta.
“As proud youths of Owo and Ose, we identify with a leader who combines heritage with modern leadership. Prince Adenekan Olateru-Olagbegi represents progress, inclusion, and a future driven by competence and vision,” the statement added.
The Owo/Ose Youth Forum concluded by calling on stakeholders across Ondo North to align with capable and result-driven individuals, stressing that the time has come to prioritize performance over politics.
