The Director General of the Opomulero Movement, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori, has called on the people of Ondo State and members of the APC to remain vigilant and careful of any political leadership style capable of creating unnecessary tension, division, and instability within the party and the state.
According to the DG Opomulero, politics should be about service, inclusion, consultation, and peaceful coexistence, not unnecessary confrontation or actions capable of overheating the polity.
He stated that while every political leader has the constitutional right to pursue ambitions and build influence, such efforts must never come at the expense of the peace, unity, and stability currently being enjoyed in Ondo State under the leadership of Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
Hon. Olakunori noted that the APC in Ondo State has continued to record progress because of the governor’s peaceful approach to leadership, reconciliation, and grassroots engagement. He warned that any political strategy that promotes camps, hostility, or bitterness among party faithful could weaken the party ahead of future political engagements.
Speaking further, the DG Opomulero emphasized that leaders must be remembered for building bridges, not creating political confusion capable of dividing loyal party members who have worked tirelessly for the growth of the APC across the state.
He urged supporters and stakeholders to avoid inflammatory statements, unnecessary political intimidation, and actions that may threaten the unity of the progressive family in Ondo State.
“The people of Ondo State want peace, development, and continuity of purposeful leadership. Any leadership style that encourages political crisis, division, or unnecessary supremacy battles should be approached with caution by the people,” he stated.
Hon. Olakunori reaffirmed the commitment of the Opomulero Movement to supporting peace, stability, and responsible leadership that will continue to move Ondo State forward.

Hon. Olasupo Olakunori
